Alchemy’s Lead Lined Sheetrock is used for shielding existing and newly constructed walls with lead where sound protection or x-ray is required. 

Fire Rated Sheetrock comes in 5/8” Thickness. Typical sized Sheets are 4 “ x 7” or 4” x 8”, but any size panel can be made to your specifications. 

Alchemy also offers Lead Lined Plywood and Steel paneling for lead lining walls, ceiling and floors.

All openings penetrating the protective barrier, such as electrical outlets, ductwork, piping, etc., require shielding. 

This is obtained by a lead barrier behind these openings of sufficient coverage and thickness to prevent penetration of radiation.

Nails, bolts, screws or other fasteners used to secure the lead panels must be covered with Lead Buttons of the thickness equal to the lead sheet.

This is to eliminate the possibility of radiation leakage at the fastening point.
